Recently I found a great way to create a free website that is very professional. It is also very useful for those artist or producers wanting to create their own webspace on a small budget. The website that I found to help achieve this was Wix.com.
Using Wix.com is very simple and effective when trying to deliver a high standard of quality to viewers. Incorporating a very easy to use interface, and easy menu layout, even the most basic internet user can navigate how to build their own custom website.

I found out about Wix.com while browsing on Facebook and Twitter for new ways to build my audience. Since I already have my blog here on Blogspot, I needed something "Fresh". I found the site linked in a tweet from one of my followers on Twitter.
They had created an entire custom website from scratch, using all of their original music, pictures, and even equipped with a personal social stream of all of their tweets. ALL FOR FREE!!. I thought to myself, "I have to get me one of these". It's simple! All you need is a valid email address, and a idea of what you want your site to look like, and "Presto", you have a new website!
Now you could go get a professional web designer to design your website, or you could simply take some initiative.
For all independent artist it is very important to take responsibility for your own promotion. Creating a website to represent yourself is a great way to start!
