Hey Young World, its Dan F. Man here giving you another dose of information on my career. I was recently told that my blog resembled your modern Myspace page.
I took this into heavy consideration and found this to be more of a complement than anything. I believe that since I am trying to attract people to my music it has to be very easily accessible. So, having a "huge" PLAY button with an attractive thumbnail, in your face as soon as u land on my page gives potential fans a quick way to get to my music.
In the music industry the most important thing to accomplish is building a following. Just take a look at my blog for example. Right now I have a small amount of followers, but the accessibility for future fans is VERY HIGH! This is great! Because at the end of the day I have all of tools in place to build my future career, without having to backtrack.
I recently came back into contact with my mentor after two years of lost contact, and hard work on my end. I ordered the DVD that he produced on how artist can break into the music industry. Ironically after two long years of lost contact, I manage to accomplish everything on the DVD without ever having received the DVD until just a week ago.
